Jubilee Celebrations | 06-01-2021
Really the day was something extra-special for our Mangalapuzha Seminary because Fr. Sebastian Palamoottil the Rector and Fr. Siby Pulickal the Dean (Faculty of Theology) were celebrating the Silver Jubilee of their priestly ordination. The Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee was celebrated with a con-celebrated solemn thanksgiving Holy Eucharist, where 15 staff from the Carmelgiri St. Joseph Pontifical Seminary and Rev. fathers and sisters delegating various seminaries and religious congregations were present. V.Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthenpurayil the Rector- Carmelgiri St. Joseph Pontifical Seminary, preached a meaningful homily and wished them prayerful greetings of the day.
In the evening there was a felicitation programme and we were doubly delighted to have Rev. Bp. Mar George Madathikandathil- the Chairman of the Synodal Commission for the Seminary who celebrated the Ruby Jubilee of his priestly ordination with us. The very presence of Bishops Mar. Tony Neelankavil and Mar. John Nellikunnel added colour to the programme. Rev. Fr. Kurian Mukkkamkuzhiyil the procurator welcomed the gathering and Mar. Tony Neelankavil, Mar. John Nellikunnel, Fr. Paul Komban and brothers Puthanpurakkal Sony and Thadikkaren Tom representing theology and philosophy sections felicitated and conveyed prayerful wishes to them.
