S.H.League
S.H.League (Sacred Heart League), Printers, Publishes and Dealers of Religious Books is an initiative of St.Joseph Pontifical Seminary,Mangalapuzha to foster good literature of ethical values. It was started in 15 October, 1920 by Fr.Zacharias O.C.D., a zealous Carmelite Missionary from Spain. Fr.Zacharias was assiduous in working for the overall development of the people around . It was his idea to make available to the public good literature in Malayalam at a reasonable price at a time when such publications were far too few. The S.H.Leage has done a wonderful service to enhance the Christian literature in Malayalam.
Remaining faithful to the original inspiration, the S.H.League today is a publishing house cum Book Stall. It takes up the publication of books in English and Malayalam that are in keeping with the original ideal. Besides the Book Stall has a good collection of books of various publishing houses.
Every year the S.H.League organizes a book fest from 15th June to 15th July to encourage the sale of good literature with very attractive discounts. For more details contact:
