Seminarians Invited to be Holy through Service

With the clarion call to be holy through service to humanity, Mangalapuza seminary has
resumed the works of charity under the roof of Jesus fraternity and social service. Fr.
Alexander Kureekattil, one of the founders of Jesus Fraternity inaugurated this year’s journey
of charity in the seminary on 20 th June 2024 by lighting the lamp and distributing the charity
boxes to each baches of theology and philosophy. Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Sebastian
Palamoottil, in his presidential address, encouraged the seminarians to learn the art of service.
Bro. Philps Thoonattu welcomed the chief guest, and the gathering with a warmth of good
words. Series of social actions like, distributing the food packets in the streets of Aluway,
rendering services at orphanages and old age homes, conducting prayer services and
adorations and financial support to the needy are planned and executed under the leadership
of Rev. Fr. Joseph Kochuparambil and his team.
