Mangalapuzha Seminary celebrated the Home Day of the academic year 2023-24 on 8th November 2023, under the title ‘OPPAM.’ The family gathering on the previous day at John Joseph OCD Hall at 06:00 pm flagged off the celebrations. Rev. Dn Shanto Sathyan, on behalf of the students, shared his experience of homeliness in the seminary and he pointed out that Mangalapuzha Seminary is ‘a treasure trove of opportunities’. Very Rev. Rector Fr. Sebastian Palamoottil exposed the feeling of togetherness as a family in the seminary and he appreciated the contribution of the staff and students towards the family experience in a laudable and unique way. Rev. Fr. Rector awarded prizes to the winners of all the arts and sports competitions conducted under the Mangalapuzha Seminary Literary Association (MSLA) and Sports Department. The family gathering became more exciting with the cultural programs presented by the brothers. Home Day was made prayerful by the thanksgiving Holy Mass concelebrated by the seminary staff with Very Rev. Fr. Rector as the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. Vincent Kundukulam, in his homily, emphasized the value of openness in building up a family experience.
