Farewell gathering for rev. Fr. Martin kallungal

Mangalapuzha seminary gratefully honoured Rev. Fr. Martin Kallungal who leaves the seminary for his new mission to serve the eparchy of Ernakulam-Angamaly as the chancellor and PRO. He is leaving the seminary after serving it for nineteen years in various capacities as the Vice-Rector, animator, vice-president of PIA, spiritual father and teacher both in theology and philosophy sections. To extend gratitude towards his gentle and enriching presence and service, a meeting was arranged in the common refectory on 15th Aug 2022 at 8.00 pm. Fr. Luke Thadathil on behalf of the staff recalled the warm memories of Fr. Martin Kallungal and praised him as a man of simplicity and efficiency. Representing the brothers, Deacon Bibin Valamparackal expressed gratitude to him for his valuable service to the community. In his reply, Fr. Martin Kallungal cherished his memories of the long nineteen years and expressed his sincere thanks to the seminary. Fr. Sebastian Palamoottil, the Rector, presented a memento to him for his sincere service to the seminary.
