Rev. Dr. Thomas Periappuram bids farewell to Mangalapuzha Seminary to resume his pastoral
activities in his home diocese Kothamangalam. He has served seminary for four years (2018-2022)
as the Spiritual Father, and teacher of Malayalam and Latin. He is a paradigm in many respects: a
good pastor, spiritual director, educationist, administrator, and above all a man of generosity and
compassion. To extend gratitude towards the gentle and enriching presence of Rev. Dr. Thomas
Periappuram, a meeting was arranged in the common refectory on 6th March 2022 at 08.00 pm. Fr.
Joseph Nellickakandathil on behalf of the staff recalled the warm memories of Fr. Thomas and
praised him as a man of virtues. Representing the brothers Albin Thengumpally expressed a big
thanks to him for his valuable service in the community.
