Commission Visit | 10-08-2021
The seminary commission made their first official visit for the Academic year 2021-2022 on 10th August. The Commissioned Bishops met both the priests and seminarians. The Syro-Malabar Synodal Commission for the Seminary- Mar George Madathikandathil the Chairman and Mar Tony Neelankavil the Auxiliary Bishop of Trichur have paid their first visit to the seminary on 10th and 11th August 2021. The chairman of the commission is H. E. Mar George Madathikandathil, bishop of Kothamangalam and the other two members are H. E. Mar John Nellikunnel, bishop of Idukki, and H. E. Mar Tony Neelankavil, auxiliary bishop of Trichur. The commission had meetings with Rev. Fr. Rector, the seminary council, all the teaching staff, and each batch of students in the seminary. They gave instructions and messages regarding the priestly formation and gathered opinions from all regarding the same. There was a con-celebrated Holy Qurbana on the 10th morning and Mar George Madathikandathil was the main celebrant. Mar Tony Neelankavil delivered the homily.
